| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) has contracted with a third-party vendor to provide free residential sprinkler system evaluations to eligible City of Plano ("the City") water utility account holders with inground, automatic sprinkler systems. This service is part of a water conservation pilot program to reduce water waste and increase sprinkler efficiency. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) formalizes the agreement between the City and NTMWD for implementation and promotion of the program and clarifies that the City is not responsible for conduct or management of the program. The City, through the Environmental Health & Sustainability Department, will provide promotion and advertisement of the program through social media, websites, newsletters, and other relevant outlets; solicit feedback from program participants; and allow the use of the City of Plano and Live Green in Plano logos for promotion and advertisement. The MOU will terminate at program completion or April 30, 2027, whichever occurs first. |
