The Engineering Department opened bids on June 3, 2025 for the Sewer Improvements - Frito-Lay, Tennyson Parkway, Abbott, White Rock Creek, Bandolino Lane, Evans Park, Country Place, Laurel Lane, Shawnee Park project. The project includes nine (9) different sites with proposed wastewater main replacements and repairs.

The lowest responsive and responsible bid was submitted by ANA Site Construction in the amount of $1,397,790. There were a total of 1,955 vendors notified of this project. Five (5) complete bids were received for the project as shown in the attached bid recap.

If this project is not awarded, the result is continued deterioration or potential failure of the existing infrastructure, resulting in increased maintenance costs, surcharges and increased odor issues in these sanitary sewer systems and a negative impact on the quality of life of the residents and businesses near these locations.

Funding for this item is available in the 2024-25 Sewer CIP and is planned for future years as well. Construction services for the Sewer Improvements - Frito-Lay, Tennyson Parkway, Abbott, White Rock Creek, Bandolino Lane, Evans Park, Country Place, Laurel Lane, Shawnee Park project in the total amount of $1,397,790 will leave a current year balance of $76,342 for future expenditures.
