| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY To appoint an Associate Judge of the Municipal Court of Record of the City of Plano, setting the term of office and compensation for the Judge; and providing a publication clause, and an effective date. Adopted Ordinance No. 2025-8-12

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND An Ordinance is being submitted for the appointment of Max Lisle as Associate Judge of the City of Plano Municipal Court of Record with a term to begin September 1, 2025 and set to expire on August 31, 2029, and to set the compensation of said Associate Judge. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item in the amount of $13,627 (including benefits) is included in the approved 2024-25 Budget. This amount will cover the remainder of this fiscal year and future years will occur within Council approved appropriations. FY 2025-26 total amount (including benefits) will total approximately $161,000. City Charter authorizes the selection and appointment of the judges of the Municipal Court of Record with the approval of the City Council.
