| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY RFB 2025-0515-B for Alley Reconstruction - Duke Court, Kentucky Drive, Versailles Lane, Wyvonnes Way, Project No. ENG-S-00009 for the Engineering Department to R&A Legacy Construction LLC in the amount of $795,901; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. Approved

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The Engineering Department opened bids on October 2, 2025, for the Alley Reconstruction - Duke Court, Kentucky Drive, Versailles Lane, Wyvonnes Way, Project No. ENG-S-00009. The project includes the replacement of approximately 4,380 linear feet of existing alley at various locations across the City.
The lowest responsive and responsible bid was submitted by R&A Legacy Construction LLC in the amount of $795,901. There were a total of 2,590 vendors notified of this project. Twenty-nine (29) complete bids were received for the project as shown in the attached bid recap.
If this project is not awarded, the concrete pavement in these alleys will continue to deteriorate, resulting in continued increased maintenance costs, access and safety concerns for residential and city trash vehicles, and a reduction of the quality of life for surrounding residents. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2025-26 Street Improvement CIP and is planned for future years as well. Construction services for the Alley Reconstruction - Duke Court, Kentucky Drive, Versailles Lane, Wyvonnes Way project in the total amount of $795,901 will leave a balance of $271,399 for future expenditures.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
