COMMENTS:  This item approves price quotes.  Expenditures will be made from the Building Inspections Department Budget within the approved budget appropriations for each year of the contract.  The amount to be spent in FY 2019-20 is $75,000.  The total estimated future amount to be spent is $225,000 (FY 2020-21 $75,000, FY 2021-22 $75,000 FY 2022-23 $75,000).  This agreement approves a one-year contract with (3) optional one-year renewals for an estimated total amount of $300,000.     

SUMMARY OF ITEM


The City is exempt from the competitive bid process for this purchase as allowed by Texas Local Government Code Chapter 252 Subchapter B Section 252.022(a)(4). (City of Plano Internal Contract No. 2019-0560-C)
