This second modification for materials testing on the Senior Center Expansion and Renovation project, in the amount of $10,867, will leave a balance of $105,525 available for future expenditures at the Sam Johnson Recreation Center or other city facilities. |

SUMMARY OF ITEM
This modification is for final closeout of the contract for material testing services required by statute. Additional testing was required due to weather impacts, substandard soils being used requiring retesting, and late cancellations of scheduled inspections and testing. Construction Manager and subcontractors were back-charged for this work.
