COMMENTS:  Funding for this item is available in the 2019-20 Facilities Maintenance Budget and is anticipated for future years.  The purchase of energy management system maintenance for 39 city facilities, in the annual amount of $123,758.40, will leave a current year balance of $100,938 available for other maintenance agreements.  Future year expenditures will occur within council approved appropriations. 

SUMMARY OF ITEM


The City is authorized to purchase from a cooperative purchasing program with another local government or a local cooperative organization pursuant to Chapter 271 Subchapter F of the Texas Local Government Code and by doing so satisfies any State Law requiring local governments to seek competitive bids for items.  (Sourcewell Contract No. 030817-JHN, City of Plano Contract No. 2020-0024-C)
