Per the weighted scoring of the proposals received and evaluated for the subject Competitive Sealed Proposal as summarized below, Facilities recommend award to North American Commercial Construction, L.P. in the amount of $162,935 as being the best value to the City of Plano.

Explanation:

The city received ten submissions on February 20, 2020.  A Technical Evaluation Team ranked only the technical aspects of the proposals, which comprised 60% of the overall score.

The finishes and fixtures in the Lower Level 9-1-1 Restrooms are over 20 years old and replacement is recommended at this time.  Also with these changes the restrooms will meet the current Texas Accessibility standards.

Funding is available for this item in the 2019-20 Capital Maintenance Fund Budget.  The construction contract for the Lower Level 9-1-1 Restroom Renovation project, in the amount of $162,935, will leave a balance of $280,660 available for future expenditures for Municipal Center Renovations.
