Resolution No. 2020-10-8(R): To repeal Resolution No. 2020-5-16(R), and adopt a resolution approving the terms and conditions of an Amended Interlocal Cooperation Agreement by and between the City of Plano, Texas and County of Collin, Texas for the COVID-19 Emergency Housing and Living Assistance Program, authorizing its execution by the City Manager; and providing an effective date. On May 26, 2020, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2020-5-16(R), authorizing the City of Plano to enter into an interlocal agreement with Collin County for the disbursement of approximately $11.9M in Collin Cares-Emergency Housing and Living Assistance (EHLA) fund to Collin County residents. The Collin County Commissioners Court has reduced funding for this program, and therefore, the City of Plano’s allocation will decrease $3.5M to approximately $8.4M in Collin Cares-EHLA funds. 

This item has no financial impact and the City will be adopting a resolution approving the terms and conditions of an Amended Interlocal Cooperation Agreement by and between the City of Plano, Texas and County of Collin, Texas for the COVID-19 Emergency Housing and Living Assistance Program.      

Authorizing approval of this item relates to the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of Safe, Vibrant Neighborhoods.
