ITEM SUMMARY

To approve the terms and conditions of a Right-of-Way Use Agreement by and between the City of Plano, Texas and TB Plano 1 LLC, the right to locate, place, attach, install, operate, maintain, repair and replace, a sky bridge system located in a portion of 11th Street between K Avenue and Iron Avenue in Plano, Texas between two buildings located on Block A, Lot 1 and Block B, Lot 1; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents; and providing an effective date. Approved

BACKGROUND

The City of Plano, Texas ("City") and TB Plano 1 LLC ("Company") request to enter into a Right of Way Use Agreement in which the Company desires to locate, place, attach, install, operate, maintain, repair and replace, a skybridge system located in the City's Right-of-Way. The City will allow Company to use the Right-of-Way for the skybridge structure under the terms of this Agreement. 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS

This agreement is for a sky bridge system located in the City's public Right-of-Way for a seventy-five (75) year period. The agreement will generate a total of $80,625 in revenue in the General Fund over the span of the agreement, or $1,075 per year for the seventy-five (75) year period. 

 

Approval of this Right of Way Agreement relates to the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of Excellent, Innovative and Accountable City Government.
