| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY To approve a request to grant a utility easement on City property identified as the Municipal Avenue West parking lot for installation of electric services for the Eastside 14th Street, LLC development located adjacent to the parking lot; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The City of Plano plans to begin construction to underground overhead utilities along 14th Street and Municipal Avenue in 2021 and have begun easement acquisition efforts with property owners along the planned route. An agreement has been reached with the Eastside 14th Street, LLC development for the City of Plano to grant a utility easement for purposes of electrical services in exchange of the dedication of three easements to the City for undergrounding overhead utilities along 14th Street. The utility easement from the City to Eastside 14th Street, LLC is approximately 277 square feet and of comparable value. |
