| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The Haggard Library Landscape and Irrigation Improvements, Project No. 6639.3, located at 2501 Coit Road, Plano, Texas, includes removing selected trees that create an unsafe environment in the parking lot and courtyards, bringing handicap parking and ramps into TAS/ADA compliance, replacing a problematic, aging irrigation system and installing new drought tolerant landscaping.
The Parks and Recreation Department accepted bids on January 14, 2021 for the Haggard Library Landscape and Irrigation Improvements, Project No. 6639.3. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Cole Construction, Inc. in the amount of $323,811. There were a total of 1208 vendors notified of this project. Nine complete bids were received for the project as shown in the attached bid recap. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2020-21 Capital Maintenance Fund. Award of the construction contract for the Haggard Library Landscape and Irrigation Renovation project, in the total estimated amount of $323,811, will leave a current year balance of $399,804 for future expenditures.
