| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND This Professional Services Agreement is to study twenty-two flow meters that will be installed in the Lower White Rock Creek and Dallas North Trunk Basins. Wastewater flows will be monitored for 60 to 90 days to identify areas that have high wet weather flows. These areas will be studied with a future project to identify the sources of the high flows.
RJN Group, Inc. was deemed most qualified based on their Statement of Qualifications submission for RFQ No. 2019-398-X.
If this expenditure is not approved, the City will continue to pay high sewer treatment costs for rain water that enters the sewer system. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2020-21 Sewer CIP. Professional engineering services for the Lower White Rock Creek & North Dallas Trunk Basin I&I Study project, in the total estimated amount of $220,740, will leave a current year balance of $778,945 for future expenditures.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government |
