ITEM SUMMARY

Public Hearing and consideration of an Ordinance as requested in Zoning Case 2020-020 to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, granting Specific Use Permit No. 167 on 1.6 acres of land located west of J Avenue at 12th Street in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, presently Zoned Light Commercial and Light Industrial-1; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date. BACKGROUND

Certification of zoning sign placement was not received consistent with the requirements of Section 4.500.4 of Article 4 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2. This states that applicants must submit "a signed and notarized affidavit certifying that the required zoning sign(s) is(are) being maintained on the subject property in compliance with the requirements specified on the city's zoning petition form..." by "...no later than the 14th day before the date of the City Council hearing." Therefore, this item is requested to be tabled to the April 26, 2021, City Council meeting.
