ITEM SUMMARY

RFB No. 2021-0232-B for Building Inspections and Customer Utility Services Counters, Project No. 7270, for the Facilities Department to JM Management LLC in the amount of $69,999; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. Approved

BACKGROUND

Facilities has reviewed six (6) bids submitted for service counter renovation for Building Inspections and Customer Utility Services. Facilities recommends award to the lowest responsive, responsible bid to JM Management LLC in the amount of $69,999. 

 

There were seven (7) companies that “no bid” the project.

 

Renovation of the counters at Building Inspections and Customer Utility Services is required in order to comply with current State & Federal ADA regulations as well as the City of Plano’s Self Evaluation & Transition Plan.

 

The funding for the project is in Capital Maintenance Fund Account 54401.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS

Funding for this item is available in the 2020-21 Capital Maintenance Fund.  Award of this project to JM Management LLC, in the amount of $69,999, will leave a balance of $256,495 for future facility projects. 

 

Approval of this item supports the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government.
