| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND Facilities has reviewed the bids submitted for the Oak Point Recreation Center Pool Boiler Addition. Facilities recommends award to the lowest responsive, responsible bid to Infinity Contractors International, LTD. in the total amount of $58,386.00. The City received four (4) bids and two (2) no bids.
The existing boiler is sized to maintain normal pool temperatures except in extreme winter weather conditions. Therefore, a new additional boiler is required to maintain proper pool temperatures during extreme winter weather conditions.
The funding for the project is in Capital Maintenance Fund account 54488. |

Purchase of the boiler for the Oak Point Recreation Center Pool, in the total estimated amount of $58,386, will leave a current year balance of $1,614 for future expenditures at the facility.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
