| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND Facilities has reviewed the bids submitted for the Carpenter Park Recreation Center HVAC Replacement. Facilities recommends award to the lowest responsive, responsible bid to Infinity Contractors International, LTD. in the total amount of $482,229.00. The City received six (6) bids and five (5) no bids.
The existing rooftop air conditioning units are over 15 years old and are at the end of their life expectancy and have deteriorated such that replacement is required in order to maintain temperature control for the users of the building.
The funding for the project is in Capital Maintenance Fund account 54422. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2020-21 Capital Maintenance Fund Budget. Replacement of the rooftop HVAC units at Carpenter Park Recreation Center, in the total estimated amount of $482,229, will leave a current year balance of $146,256 for future expenditures at the facility.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
