| | | | | | | | PREVIOUS ACTION/PRESENTATION The Plano City Council approved the expenditure for design and engineering services for the President George Bush Turnpike Sewer Improvements project at its December 11, 2017 meeting. |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
The easements are being acquired for the installation of a parallel sewer line to increase sanitary sewer capacity to avoid overflows. Using an appraisal prepared by Texas Appraisal Team, negotiations with Rosewood Property Company led to an agreed compensation amount of $340,252 for these acquisitions. Staff recommends approval. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is planned in the 2021-22 Sewer CIP. Acquisition of three (3) easements for the Sewer Improvements - Data, Lotus and PGBT project, in the total estimated amount of $340,252, will leave a project balance of $1,594,117 for future expenditures.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
