| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY Discussion, direction and possible consideration re: Denton Central Appraisal District Board Nominee |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The Council is required to provide, by resolution, any nominations to the DCAD Board by October 14th. The appraisal district will provide a list of all nominations submitted by each taxing entity along with the entity’s number of votes. Each entity will receive a pro rata share of the votes based on its tax levy. Entities can work together to bring forward a nominee or slate of nominees. In the past, the Council has not submitted a nominee but worked with Lewisville ISD to support their nominees. A resolution is attached for consideration if the the Council elects to submit a nominee. The Council will cast it votes at the November 22nd meeting via resolution. |
