| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND Adoption of an Ordinance of the City of Plano, Texas the purpose of which is to ratify the appointments of the Associate Judges of the Plano Municipal Court of Record previously appointed by Resolution No. 2020-4-1(R) on April 13, 2020 which terms will expire on April 13, 2024, to ensure compliance with Chapter 30, Section 30.00006, Municipal Courts of Record, Texas Government Code, and to provide a publication clause and an effective date |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS This item will ratify the appointments of the Associate Judges of the Plano Municipal Court of Record. The Associate Judges will serve the remainder of the term approved by Resolution 2020-4-1(R), ending on April 13, 2024. Expenditures will occur within Council approved appropriations.
Approval of this Ordinance will support the City’s Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government.
