| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND It is the recommendation of Facilities Maintenance to proceed with the roof overlay at Courtyard Theater in the amount of $193,400 from JJ Red Commercial Roofing, LLC.
Facilities Maintenance received seven responsive bids. Facilities Maintenance recommends the award to the lowest responsive responsible bid which meets specifications and provides the best value to the City from JJ Red Commercial Roofing, LLC.
The roof is at the end of its life expectancy and has deteriorated such that overlay is required to protect the contents of the building. If this work is not done, this could cause damage to the building including the interior of the building and its contents.
The funding for the project is in the Capital Improvement Plan account number 28214. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2022-23 Park Improvements CIP. Construction services for the Courtyard Theater Roof Overlay project, in the total estimated amount of $193,400, will leave a current year balance of $367,600 for future project expenditures.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
