LLC dba J.B. & Co. LLC for the Engineering Department; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. (Bid No. 2021-0318-B, Changer Order No. 1) Approved |

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND Change Order No. 1 includes the installation of a gabion wall behind 1801 Macao Pl. and 3004 Padre Ct. due to significant erosion along the streambank. It also includes some channel protection and adjacent storm drain outfall improvements.
If this change order is not approved, erosion would continue along the streambank resulting in potentially dangerous impacts to adjacent properties and structures. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2022-23 Municipal Drainage CIP. The first change order for the 2019 Drainage Improvements project, in the total estimated amount of $312,132, will leave a current year balance of $1,987 for future project expenditures.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
