Request to rezone 7.8 acres from Planned Development-12-Single-Family Residence-7 to Planned Development-12-Multifamily Residence-1 and request for 80 multifamily dwelling units on one lot on 6.8 acres located at the northeast corner of Jupiter Road and Los Rios Boulevard. Zoned Planned Development-12-Single-Family Residence-7. Applicant: Al Dewan Properties, LLC (Tabled at the September 12, 2022, City Council meeting.) | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND At its August 15, 2022 meeting, the Planning & Zoning Commission denied these requests, each by a vote of 8-0. The applicant has appealed the Commission's denials. A 3/4 vote, or 6 of the 8 City Council members, is required for approval of the requests. If approved as requested by the petitioner, an ordinance may be approved administratively, when Council states such in their motion, without appearing on another agenda. Any other approval will follow on the next available consent agenda, for administrative consideration only, with no further deliberation. |
