BACKGROUND

The Public Works Department recommends the bid for the Alley Concrete Pavement Repair Zones L2 & L3 project be awarded to Cam-Crete Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $3,454,350.00, to be accepted as the lowest responsive and responsible bid for the project conditioned upon timely execution of all necessary documents.

The project involves the repair of 29,000 square yards of alley concrete, 5,000 square feet of sidewalk and 50 barrier free ramps in residential zones L2 & L3.

Engineer's estimate for the project is $3,900,000.
