| | | | | | | | ITEM SUMMARY To approve the naming of the park, located in Block Y of the Collin Creek Development, to Sunrise Park at Collin Creek. Approved |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The working name for the park on the east side of the Collin Creek Development has been ‘Block Y’ Park.
In accordance with Parks and Recreation policy for naming parks and recreation facilities, a committee was appointed to consider names for the new park. The committee met on December 6, and December 12, 2022. After consideration, the committee recommends the park be named Sunrise Park at Collin Creek.
The name change must be approved by a simple majority vote of the City Council members present at the meeting.
