| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND Appointment of Campaign Treasurer (CTA) forms are filed by candidates and Specific Political Action Committees (SPAC) if they intend to receive or expend funds in conjunction with an election.
The CTA remains active until a final report is filed by the candidate or SPAC. Section 252.0131 of the Texas Election Code allows the City Council to adopt a process by which the City Secretary can terminate CTA's of inactive candidates and SPACs that have not filed reports for more than one-year. |
