| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The Purchasing Department solicited a bid for Cooling Tower. Six (6) responses were received.
The Engineering Department opened bids on April 25, 2023 for the Municipal Center Cooling Tower. The project includes all labor, equipment, materials and supervision as required by the specifications and drawings.
The lowest responsive and responsible bid was submitted by Synergy Environmental Services, L.L.C. in the amount of $398,390.00
The existing cooling tower is over 15 years old and is at the end of its life expectancy and has deteriorated such that replacement is required.
The funding for the project is in Project FAC-F-7407 Capital Maintenance Fund account 54527. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is available in the 2022-23 Capital Maintenance Fund. Replacement of the Municipal Center Cooling Tower, in the total estimated amount of $398,390, will leave a current year balance of $810 for future project expenditures.
