RFB No. 2023-0336-B for Installation for Fire Station 3 (Project No. FAC-F-7422), Fire Station 4 (Project No. FAC-F-7423), Fire Station 7 (Project No. FAC-F-7425), Fire Station 8 (Project No. FAC-F-7441), and Facilities Maintenance (Project No. FAC-F-7428) Generator Replacement and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) for the Engineering Department to P3 Partners, LLC dba P3 Builds in the amount of $579,325; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. Approved

Procurement solicited a bid for the installation of the city furnished generators and automatic transfer switches at Fire Station 3, Fire Station 4, Fire Station 7, Fire Station 8 and a new automatic transfer switch and generator at Facilities Maintenance. Two proposals were received. 

The Engineering Department opened bids on May 25, 2023 for the installation of the city furnished automatic transfer switches and generators at Fire station 3, Fire Station 4, Fire Station 7 and Fire Station 8 and a new automatic transfer switch and generator at Facilities Maintenance. The project includes all labor, materials and supervision as required by the specifications and drawings. The equipment is provided by the City of Plano.

The lowest responsive and responsible bid was submitted by P3 Partners, LLC dba P3 Builds in the amount of $579,325.

Funding for this item is available in the 2022-23 Capital Maintenance Fund.  The installation of generators and automatic transfer switches at Fire Stations 3, 4, 7, & 8 and the Facilities Maintenance Building, in the total estimated amount of $579,325, will leave a current year balance of $13,529 for future project expenditures.
