| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND The Engineering Department opened bids on June 27, 2024, for Building No. 66 EOC HVAC Replacement, Project FAC-F-00013.
The lowest responsive and responsible bid was submitted by Air Conditioning Innovative Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $471,325. There were a total 1,594 vendors notified of this project. Four (4) complete responsive bids were received for the project as shown in the attached bid recap.
The existing AC system is over 15 years old and is at the end of its life expectancy therefore due for replacement. If this is not approved, failure of equipment will occur resulting in the inability to maintain temperatures in the building required for EOC operations. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL SUMMARY/STRATEGIC GOALS Funding for this item is planned in the 2024-25 Capital Maintenance Fund. Construction services for Building No. 66 EOC HVAC Replacement project, in the total estimated amount of $471,325, will leave a balance of $3,675 for future expenditures.
Approval of this item will support the City's Strategic Plan Critical Success Factor of being an Excellent, Innovative, and Accountable City Government. |
