To approve an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Plano and the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) for the Regional Stormwater Management Program with the estimated annual expenditure of $10,000 for Environmental Health and Sustainability; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. The City of Plano entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) for a Regional Stormwater Management Program in 2017 and will continue to benefit from this Agreement by entering into a new Regional Stormwater Management Program contract term. The scope of services provided by NCTCOG includes assistance to the participants for administrative and implementation support of Stormwater related activities and the cost-share arrangement for funding of this effort.

This Regional Stormwater Management Program contract will be in place through September 30, 2029. (City of Plano Internal Contract No. 2024-0450-I)

Funding for this item is available in the 2024-25 Environmental Quality Budget. The request is for the Regional Stormwater Program through North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG). This contract is for an initial term of one (1) year, with four (4) automatic renewals. The anticipated total expenditure would be $50,000; FY 2024-25 $10,000, FY 2025-26 $10,000, FY 2026-27 $10,000, FY 2027-28 $10,000 and FY 2028-29 $10,000. All future year expenditures will occur within council approved appropriations.
