| | | | | | | | PREVIOUS ACTION/PRESENTATION On November 11, 2024, City Council approved the acceptance of a donation from Toyota Motor North America, Inc., of up to $15,000,000 towards the purchase of 5.132 acres of land at the southeast corner of Legacy Drive and Headquarters Drive with the provision of naming the future park site Mendomi Park. |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND In accordance with Parks and Recreation policy for naming parks and recreation facilities, a committee was appointed to consider names for the new park. The committee met on January 13, 2025. After consideration, the committee recommends that the park be named Mendomi Park.
The name must be approved by a simple majority vote of the City Council members present at the meeting. |
